The Minister of People’s Power for Foreign Affairs of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Yván Gil, announced through his Telegram channel that he met with his Cuban counterpart, Bruno Rodríguez, during his visit to Geneva.

In his message, Gil stated: “It has been a great pleasure to greet the Foreign Minister of Cuba, Bruno Rodríguez, a true friend of Venezuela and of all peoples fighting for their self-determination.”

The Venezuelan Foreign Minister also conveyed a warm embrace to the people and Government of Cuba, highlighting the island’s importance as a key ally in the fight for human rights at the Geneva Human Rights Council. “We defend truth and international law,” added Gil, emphasizing the commitment of both countries in this area.

Additionally, the Venezuelan minister revealed that he held a dialogue with the Deputy Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan, Edil Baisalov.
